I feel the sting of Death.

Oh dear sweet baby girl, how I miss you’re toes.

My heart is full of sadness, my body aches in pain. I wish to hold you tight, too have your warm body comfort mine.

55 “Where, O death, is your victory?
Where, O death, is your sting?”[a]

56 The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law. 57 But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

1 Corinthians 15:55-57

My Victory is though Jesus, my victory anew. My heart feels the sting of Death, it is heavy with pain. With tears I cry out, Why Oh Lord? Why? Where is your grace and love in taking my daughter away, where is your mercy in leaving me filled with this hole.

Victory is coming. Jesus is coming, oh how I long for him to come soon! Victory over death is coming, and then my heart will be renewed. But for now, I feel the sting of death me, the brutal heartache, never ending fears and pain. “Where, O death, is your sting?” Here! It is here, it is in me. I feel your sting, I feel your hopelessness, I feel the loneliness you bring. Oh LORD, I cry out take this sting of death from me, bring me to your Victory! Bring me to the feet of Jesus. Thanks be to God for giving us such Victory! Oh, how I long to see Rachel again! Thanks be to God for giving me Victory to see her again one day. Thanks be to God for this “short” life here on Earth and for his VICTORY over death to where we can spend eternity with him in a perfect world.
